  1. Useful tips, and not just to improve your English pronunciation if you are learning it. They are also useful if you are doing some sort of public speaking activity, such as a business presentation at work.

    One I try to share with my students -and try to apply myself- … is to s-p-e-a-k s-l-o-w-e-r. It is just too tempting to speak a foreign language at the same speed rate as your native. Its a mistake. Besides, by speaking slower, we give ourselves time to correct our grammar and pronunciation.

    1. Thanks very much Gloria! I agree, I think it’s so important to find the right pace, and of course it’s likely to be slower than when you are speaking your native language. As you say, it just gives you a bit more time to think!
